The band-winged meadowhawk (''Sympetrum semicinctum'') is a dragonfly of the genus ''Sympetrum'' belonging to the family Libellulidae. ''Sympetrum semicinctum'' is closely related to, and may not be a distinct species from, the western meadowhawk (''Sympetrum occidentale'').
